Recipe of the Month Cheese and Vegemite Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry defrosted
  • 1 cup tasty cheese grated
  • 8 tbs Vegemite

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Spread Vegemite over puff pastry sheet.
  3. Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the Vegemite.
  4. Roll pastry up to form a log shape.
  5. Cut into slices approximately 2cm wide.
  6. Place on baking tray and bake for approximately 15 minutes or until cheese has melted and pastry is cooked.

NOTES

I’ve also made a pizza version with pizza sauce, ham and cheese.
